Beyond

Beyond thousands of years
Of myth and lies
I lie confused in a world
That doesn’t make sense

So I go beyond our logic
Seeking answers that where
Once buried
And others, never discovered

So I sail on the
Endless sea of mysteries
Where nothing is what it seems
Where land never existed
Nor will it ever

I drop anchor from time to time
Just to remember
That I’m in motion
And once the motion stops
It means I still am existing

Where look and emotions are deceiving
I’m not deceived
Once you know the truth
Looks are the least that matter

Sadly as we grow
We are taught everything wrong
This world is really a bad teacher to learn from
And if not questioned
Are slave for that teacher

Everybody learn
For the simple reason
Nobody wants to be alone
So we sell ourselves
Not to be lonely

They make us fear the unknown
And to never question them
So our thoughts become bounded
By their teachings

As we become more
Dependent on them
We become a slave
Of these things they call society and the world

So we seek relationships
To fill the void we feel inside
A reason to live for
And a goal to look forward too

So we do everything in our power
To attract the other gender
Whether it’s acting stupid
Or talking about subjects we don’t care about

So we loose our identity
As we try to impress
As we get more attention
We seek it more

An endless spiral of self destruction
