Christianity Falls Short

February 8th, 2010 by Serge

Amazing isn’t it?  How every religion claim to be the only way for truth.  Funny, isn’t it?  That every person thinks he is following the true religion.  Weird, isn’t it?  How we use our logic for everything except religion.  I was a Christian by birth, I became a Christian by Choice, I’m a Free Spirit by Decision.  The bible has holes in it.  For being the only way of truth, the bible falls short.

The bible claims that Satan exists.  If Satan exist so does hell, but wait I thought God loves us?  The bible claims that Satan is a fallen angel.  So the question arises, why does God need angels?  Isn’t God omnipresent and omnipotent?  The answer is clear.  God doesn’t need angel, hence angels doesn’t exist. If angels doesn’t exist, nor does Satan exist.  If Satan doesn’t exist, nor does hell exist.  If hell doesn’t exist, nor does heaven exist.

Matthew 18;21-22 “Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?”  22Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. If Jesus is asking us to be the forever forgiving, how much more will the God the creator of everything forgive us?  The hell theory falls again.

Luke 6:37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. ”Wait, doesn’t that mean that the relationship between God and me is like an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth?  I thought Jesus said “if somebody hits you on your right cheek turn your left”.

Mark 14:10 “Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus to them.” John 13:27 “As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him.” Luke 22:3 “Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve.” Well they say that Satan entered him, right?  Just wondering how did they know if Satan entered him or not ?  Must be that his eyes turned red, green, or something.  Yet another states doesn’t state anything.  Bible please make your mind.

Mathew 6;24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.  You cannot serve God and mammon”.  This clearly states that you either follow money or God, there is no grey way to go by.  The so called Christian believers are really funny.  When you ask them about the money or God part they go like “I’m in between”.  There is no between you hypocrite, it’s either you follow God or you follow the money route.  The bible talks in Black and White.  There is no Grey. Mathew 12;30 “He Who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters abroad.”. If Christians really believed in the bible and in Jesus teaching, they would have sold everything and gave it to the poor or something. Mathew 6;26 “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow or reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they?  Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

People only have faith in what they want.  They believe in what suits them and ignores the one that doesn’t suit them.

Oh, the good old Christians who have no idea what the bible talks about.  They just want a purpose, a reason to be.  Seeking comfort in God because they are so weak to face life alone.  First of all, if you are a Christian you should believe that fate exists and it controls everything.  This means that you don’t have control over anything.  In other words you are just a doll in God’s hand.  Since Jesus predicted that Judas will betray him then that proves that the future is constant.  In other words that mean you have no control over your life and that “Free Will” is just an illusion.  The good old explanation for Jesus knowing that Judas is going to betray him is that Jesus can looks into the heart of a person and knows what decision will that person take.  So basically in other words Jesus looked into the heart of Judas which is all filled with greed and stuff and knew that if somebody is going to betray him, most likely it is this guy.  So he predicted it and got it right.  What about Peter’s denial?  Jesus predicted not only the denial of Peter but also how many time and when and everything.  This breaks the “Heart Looking” theory, and proves that with relative to the bible, the future is constant and we are just a doll in God’s hand and we have no “Free Will”, it’s just an illusion.  This conclusion brings us into another conclusion.  If the future is constant and we have no “Free Will”, than God can’t judge us since we don’t have free will.  So hell doesn’t exist.  So Christians have two choices, either those stories aren’t true and there is a hell and no such thing as fate, or those stories are true and hell doesn’t exist.  Christian can’t believe in the existence of hell and the stories of Jesus prediction, because they oppose each other.  Christianity falls short.

i never saw things from this perspective, quite interesting :)
and much respect for that statement: ” I was a Christian by birth, I became a Christian by Choice, I’m a Free Spirit by Decision. ”

the bible has been written by people, i am always judge on the fact that i don’t listen to the church most of the times, and that i kind of do what i think is right, i do not want to make my own religion, but i like to keep the judgment between me and god, and i like to have the freedom to doubt and question in the right way

thank you for your nice comment ^_^

my blood starts boiling when church starts putting boundaries or just giving there stupid opinion
“Pope Nicholas V issued the papal bull Dum Diversas on 18 June, 1452. It authorised Alfonso V of Portugal to reduce any “Saracens (Muslims) and pagans and any other unbelievers” to perpetual slavery. This facilitated the Portuguese slave trade from West Africa.”, Seriously the last person to lecture me about behavior and right and wrong can be anybody but the church…
i mean they did endless wars and killed thousand and thousands of ppl just because they didnt agree with them, wtf..
spanish inquisition, war on islam, cathar etc…

i think the important thing in faith is ur personal experience with god, eno islam , chrisitanity, hindusim etc… they are nearly the same it’s just like a different way to reach god, religion is nothing but like a bridge to communicate and understand god, all are different bridges that leads to the same thing, it leads to god and peacefulness and love…

mum always told me, that even in the bible, we’ve been asked not to do like the priests, in the end they are humans too and make mistakes… a smart person would be wise to take only the good from them and learn from their mistakes.
and yes, a friend told me something alike, religions are different roads in a mountain, and they all reach the same goal, god ( the top of the mountain) it doesn’t matter what way u go what matter is the goal u seek reaching

Well, this is quite interesting. But there are many millions of other points through which you can show how Christianity and many other religions fall really short of offering us humans any reasonable explanations for anything. I was a born a Muslim, and I choose to be a non-Muslim. Islam could be more convincing and more powerful in many ways, but it still is, to me, wrriten by humans, and God had nothing to do with what humans did and how they wanted to control the MASSES…

Have you watched the documentary “Zeitgeist”?
