Well, this is quite interesting. But there are many millions of other points through which you can show how Christianity and many other religions fall really short of offering us humans any reasonable explanations for anything. I was a born a Muslim, and I choose to be a non-Muslim. Islam could be more convincing and more powerful in many ways, but it still is, to me, wrriten by humans, and God had nothing to do with what humans did and how they wanted to control the MASSES...

Have you watched the documentary "Zeitgeist"?

mum always told me, that even in the bible, we've been asked not to do like the priests, in the end they are humans too and make mistakes... a smart person would be wise to take only the good from them and learn from their mistakes.
and yes, a friend told me something alike, religions are different roads in a mountain, and they all reach the same goal, god ( the top of the mountain) it doesn't matter what way u go what matter is the goal u seek reaching

thank you for your nice comment ^_^

my blood starts boiling when church starts putting boundaries or just giving there stupid opinion
"Pope Nicholas V issued the papal bull Dum Diversas on 18 June, 1452. It authorised Alfonso V of Portugal to reduce any “Saracens (Muslims) and pagans and any other unbelievers” to perpetual slavery. This facilitated the Portuguese slave trade from West Africa.", Seriously the last person to lecture me about behavior and right and wrong can be anybody but the church...
i mean they did endless wars and killed thousand and thousands of ppl just because they didnt agree with them, wtf..
spanish inquisition, war on islam, cathar etc...

i think the important thing in faith is ur personal experience with god, eno islam , chrisitanity, hindusim etc... they are nearly the same it's just like a different way to reach god, religion is nothing but like a bridge to communicate and understand god, all are different bridges that leads to the same thing, it leads to god and peacefulness and love...

i never saw things from this perspective, quite interesting :)
and much respect for that statement: " I was a Christian by birth, I became a Christian by Choice, I’m a Free Spirit by Decision. "

the bible has been written by people, i am always judge on the fact that i don't listen to the church most of the times, and that i kind of do what i think is right, i do not want to make my own religion, but i like to keep the judgment between me and god, and i like to have the freedom to doubt and question in the right way
